My Favorite Crocheted Baby Blanket

Updated: Mar 29, 2020

I love to give expecting moms a handmade crocheted baby blanket to wrap their new baby in and this blanket is my all time favorite. The Bernat Blanket yarn is so soft and squishy and double stranding it give this blanket an abundance of soft, cuddly, squishiness!

Bernat Blanket yarn comes in so many color options that you can make a blanket to fit just about any nursery décor. I have made this one in a neutral Vintage White, great for a baby girl or a baby boy.

The blanket is worked up using a simple Half Double Crochet stitch and a large hook, so you can have it made and ready to gift in no time!

You will need 2 Large skeins of Bernat Blanket Yarn (220 yards each) and a Large 25mm crochet hook.
