Supplies:
Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn in White and Black
5.0mm H Hook
3.75mm F Hook
4 small buttons, (Black, White, or Clear)
Scissors
Needle for weaving in ends
Needle and thread for attaching buttons. (I used white embroidery floss)

SC: Single Crochet
HDC: Half Double Crochet
HDCBLO: Half Double Crochet Back Loop Only

Free Panda Pattern: Easy Crochet Boot Cuffs
Child Size Boot Cuffs:
Make 2
Height: 4”, Circumference: 7”
Row 1: CH 17, HDC in 2nd chain and across, ch1, turn. (16)
Row 2: HDCBLO across, ch1, turn. (16)
Rows 3-15: Repeat Row 2
Row 16: HDCBLO across, F/O leaving a long tail.
Using a large needle stitch Row 16 to Row 1 using a mattress stitch to create the cuff. Weave in ends.
Panda Eyes:
3.75mm “F” hook
Make 4
Using Black Yarn
Round 1: 6 SC into magic circle, pull tight, SLST into first SC, ch1 (6)
Round 2: Beginning in the same stitch as the join, 2 SC into each of first three SC stitches, 2 HDC, 2 DC, (HDC, SC) into last stitch. SLST into first stitch of round,
Round 3: *2SC, SC* repeat around, SLST into first stitch of round. F/O leaving a long tail to attach. (18)
Panda Nose:
3.75mm “F” hook
Make 2
Round 1: 4 SC into magic circle, pull tight, do not join, ch1, turn. (4)
Round 2: SLST into each stitch around. F/O leaving a long tail to attach.
Panda Ears:
3.75mm “F” hook
Make 4
Round 1: 5 SC into magic circle, pull tight, do not join, ch1, turn. (5)
Round 2: 2SC into each stitch around, ch1, turn to work across the bottom, SC 4 across bottom, SLST into first stitch of round 2. F/O leaving along tail to attach. (10)
Assembling the Face:
Place the top of the eyes 3 stitches from the top of the cuff, with the DC stitches of round 2 angled down. The distance between the eyes will vary based on the size of cuff you are making.
Attach nose between and slightly below the eyes. Attach ears to the top edge of the cuff.
Attach buttons for eyes as shown in the photo using a needle and thread.
